The Nursery Activities
At DayDream Nursery there is a hive of daily activity, ranging from a baking session to a quiet afternoon story.
Inside the nursery we bake with the children, which demonstrates how maths and science can be fun rounded off with a nice treat to eat.
Painting, sticking, stories, role-play, all play an active part in the nursery day.
To encourage imaginative development, water play, dressing up and construction are also daily activities.
Outside activities make full use of our large garden, bug hunts, water play, bikes, trikes prams and climbing frames.
Since its been a legal requirement to offer the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) we have incorporated it into our day. Each child upon registering with DayDream is settled into nursery life by us liasing with parents to gather as much background information as we can. This helps to cater for their needs taking into account their background and stage of development so far.
The learning journey then begins.
What's Going On
We are pleased to inform you that we have both full and part time childcare spaces available We are also recruiting at the moment for full time and part time positions. Closing for Christmas 2011 We close @ 6pm on the 21st December 2011 We re-open @ 8am on the 3rd January 2012.
